At the time of his death, Eddie was in school administration at Portland State College in Oregon. He died of cancer on October 2, 2002. Pat and I had lunch with his brother John (SCHS Class of 1960) in Gainsville, GA (we were visiting Pat's sister) after the reunion. John and his wife live near Greenville, SC.
